About me
Eduard Hempel was immersed in the real estate and property development sector in London and the U.K. for over 20 years. On his first visit to Sri Lanka, he fell in love with the country and returned with his family in 2003, settling in the vibrant city of Galle.
For the next eighteen years, Eduard steadily built up his property development business through Hempel Holdings Ltd and subsequently founded Pearl Properties. With premier developments such as Hempel House and Rukandaluwa Estate under his belt, Eduard invited Trevor Morgan to join him to form Shakticola Ltd, a design and project management company geared to work on high-end luxury projects in the south.
Since then, Shakticola has gone from strength to strength and Tamba Villas is the fruit of that relationship.
